Vacation Rental Description
Low-cost weekly summer holiday rental available for this luxury, top-floor, 2-bed, 2-bathroom apartment located 10 minutes walk from Tavira in the Eastern Algarve. The property includes a 50 square metre private roof terrace which can be used for sunbathing and alfresco dining. There is an underground car park with a fully-operational lift directly to the apartment. The apartment is completely furnished; included is a 32' LCD television with Sky TV, a stereo hi-fi system with radio, CD and MP3 player. Close to the fully furnished kitchen is an outside balcony with barbecue and table with chairs. The main bedroom has a large luxury en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The second luxury bathroom also has a bath/shower, toilet and bidet. The main bedroom is also equipped with a second television. Each bedroom sleeps two people (one with super-king double and one with two singles). However, in the living room there is also a sofa bed that can sleep two more people/children. Included in the low summer-season price of 440 euros per week is COST OF ALL UTILITIES.

Facilities
The Eastern Algarve is still comparatively undeveloped compared with the close neighbors Spain and central/western Algarve. Subsequently the whole region including the towns of Tavira and Olhao retain a charm that is nowadays rarely found in this part of Europe. Tavira itself boasts a 2000 year old Roman bridge! Within 8km of Quinta da Pegada can be found four of the best golf courses in east Algarve including Benamor Golf designed by Sir Henry Cotton, the new Jack Nicklaus-designed 'Monte Rei', and Quinta de Cima and Quinta da Ria, two courses side by side with views of the ocean and great challenges. For those that prefer being closer to nature the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve,a 60 Ha area of natural park stretching along the coastline from Olhao to Ilha de Tavira. This beautiful nature reserve is open to the public with well organized walking tours. Several beautiful beaches are only a 5-10 minute drive away. Included are Manta Rota and Praia de Barrill where warm, safe waters exist.
