Vacation Rental Description

Hoopoe House lies in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and enjoys sea views and a seclusion rarely found these days along the Algarvian coast. The 250 year old house has been renovated to offer tourist accommodation with true regional and historic features and atmosphere. You may be content just to enjoy the sun, pool, and peace. Otherwise, the wonderful, long, sandy beaches and the birdlife of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve are close at hand. You can also swim in the Lagoon or cross to the sandy islands. The nature reserve is very rich in bird life and other wildlife, being the crossing point for migratory birds traveling between Africa and Europe. Children can play in the outdoor playground and it is possible to rent bikes at the house to go for a ride.

Hoopoe House has 1 en-suite (toilet and shower) bedroom with double bed. Living room with double sofa bed, woodburning stove, TV, DVD, stereo, computer, and dining table, kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezing compartment, and toaster, cutlery and crockery. Outdoors BBQ area and playground.

Deposit of 25% at booking, the remainder no later than 8 weeks before start of rental.

Breakage deposit of €200, paid in cash at arrival.

Electricity, gas and hot water included in rental price.

10% discount for rentals of more than 16 days

Cancellation terms:
Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge
4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded
2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded
Less than 2 weeks - no refund
