The property enjoys a safe and peaceful location in a quiet residential development with large terrace area and a private roof terrace. This property is in an excellent position with views to sea and surrounding areas. The property comprises hall, spacious lounge with dining area and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. The property has 4 bedrooms with two having large double beds and two having twin beds. The bedrooms are all tastefully furnished. The property also has satellite TV with Freeview English channels, DVD player and CD/radio hifi.

Living Accomodation:
Large lounge/dining room with comfortable sofas, log fire and dining table for eight people. TV and Satellite along with a stereo available for guests use. The kitchen is well stocked with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.

Outside there is a private patio area at the rear of the property with BBQ. At the front of the property, a covered patio area is available, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee and watching the world go by (very slowly!).

Beaches:
Superb sandy, wide, safe and clean blue flag acredited beaches are a speciality of this part of the Algarve. Easy access by ferry or fishermans boat at Tavira or Cabanas or by walking in Manta Rota, Praia Verde, Altura, Monte Gordo, Santa Luzia and Villa Real St. Antonio.

Monte Rei is a brand new Jack Nicklaus course due to open in June 2007.

Travel:
Tavira is situated 30km east of Faro airport. Car hire is recommended for our location, although taxis, trains and coach transfer are available from Faro to Tavira. A visit to the Spanish border by car is only approx 25 mins by car and Seville can be reached in a little over an hour.

Distances:
Historic Tavira centre is 3km from Casa Tomás. Tavira is often called the prettiest town on the Algarve. You are 15km to charming fishermens towns of Olhao and Fuzeta, the nature reserve Ria Formosa is within 2km and unspoilt villages such as Santa Luzia, Cabanas and Cacela Velha are all within a few kms. The Spanish border is within 30 mins by car and Seville is not much more than an hour by car.

Further Details:
Tavira has an excellent array of shops, bars and restaurants. A marvellous fresh daily market for vegatables, fruit and fish. There are also regional and flea markets. You can explore Tavira by miniature train or by horse drawn carriage. Guided tours are available in this historic town which has in excess of 35 churches, museums and fortified remains.
Also within a 3 minute walk of Casa Tomás you will find the local cafe, shop and the reknowned Restaurant Bairrada.

Long term winter rates are available at reduced prices, excluding electricity and gas. Payments, non refundable deposit of 25% on booking and balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Refundable security deposit €500 to be paid on arrival.
