Stork House lies in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and enjoys sea views and a seclusion rarely found these days along the Algarvian coast. The 250 year old house has been renovated to offer tourist accommodation with true regional and historic features and atmosphere. You may be content just to enjoy the sun, pool, and peace. Otherwise, the wonderful, long, sandy beaches and the birdlife of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve are close at hand. You can also swim in the Lagoon or cross to the sandy islands. The nature reserve is very rich in bird life and other wildlife, being the crossing point for migratory birds traveling between Africa and Europe. Children can play in the outdoor playground and it is possible to rent bikes at the house to go for a ride.
Stork House has 1 en-suite (toilet and shower) bedroom with double bed, 1 office/bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom/TV room with sofa double bed and 2 single beds in open mezzanine floor, 1 upstairs double bedroom. Living room with woodburning stove, dining room sitting up to 10, bathroom with bath and washing machine, kitchen with cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, espresso machine and toaster, cutlery and crockery. Outdoors BBQ area, shower cabin and toilet.
