2 Bedroom Apartment in Eastern Algarve

This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, air-conditioned, 1st floor apartment with balcony is part of the Quinta Da Gomeira development, situated in the picturesque village of Cabanas de Tavira. The apartment is equipped for short or long stays. It’s only a short stroll to the numerous cafe-bars, restaurants, shops and the waterfront where you can take a 2 min boat ride to 3km of white sandy beach. There are four golf courses close by and Cabanas is a great location to explore the Eastern Algarve and beyond. 
 
The apartment is just a short stroll from the waterfront where a two minute boat ride takes you across the lagoon to 3kms of white sandy beach. The beach has its own cafe-bar. Available for hire are parasols and sunbeds. For the more adventurous, jet ski's and paddle boats are also available. 
 
There are a number of supermarkets, 2 local butchers and a bakers close by. There are 3 cash point machines and one of the cafes along the seafront has internet access. There are losts of restaurants to choose from in Cabanas and the village has its own local market selling fresh produce as well as fish and meat and freshly baked bread. 
 
Faro Airport is approximately 35-40 minutes away by car. Taxis from the airport to Cabanas cost around 45 Euros each way. You can also get to Faro by bus or train. About a 25 minute drive away is Villa Real de Santo Antonio (Villa Real for short). From here you can catch a ferry over to Ayamonte (Spain). 
 

The lounge and bedrooms have remote controlled air-conditioning. All the rooms have patio doors with open railings guarding them. The apartment is no smoking. Sorry, no pets are allowed. During your stay you will have access to 4 shared pools of approx 18 x 8m with landscaped gardens and paved areas. Plenty of car parking is available on the quiet road below the apartment. There is a well equipped children's play area, a bar (O'Escalho) and a restaurant (Cabanas Brasserie) on the complex.

For golf fans, you have access to five quality golf courses:  
 
Course 1: Benamor - Par 71, 5500m (5 minute drive). Benamor is quickly gaining an excellent reputation amongst UK golfers. 
 
Course 2: Quinta da Ria - Par 72, Championship 6,110m (10 minute drive). A newish course but has already established itself as one of the best courses on the Algarve, if not Portugal. This course has stunning views of the sea and mountains. 
 
Course 3: Quinta de Cima - Par 72, Championship 6256m (10 minute drive). This course has been tipped as a Portuguese Open Venue.  
 
Course 4: Monte Rei - Par 72, Championship 6030m (15 minute drive). A 5 star Jack Nicklaus course opened in 2007. 
 
Course 5: Castro Marim - Par 71, 5265m (20 minute drive close to Spain). This course will appeal to novices and experts. Most enjoyable.
