Situated in the prestigious holiday village of Golden Clube in Cabanas de Tavira, this apartment offers excellent value for money. The internal furnishings are clean and tidy and provide all the essentials for a self catering holiday. Whilst only with 1 main bedroom, up to 6 people can be accommodated making the rental price easily affordable for a large family to enjoy both the Clube's wonderful range of leisure facilities and the quaint fishing village of Cabanas and the traditional charm it has to offer. 
 
The apartment entrance has 3 steps to the main door and then all rooms are on 1 level. The main living area is open plan with a comfortable seating area and a dining table. The kitchenette is fully equipped with hob, cooker, microwave, toaster and washing machine. 
 
The main bedroom is a double room with fitted wardrobes. In the hallway there is a double sofa bed that can be screened off. 2 additional persons are accommodated with the use of fold away beds. All linen is provided. To the front of the apartment there is a bright conservatory with table and seating. 
 
There is 1 bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The apartment has air conditioning. 
 
The Golden Clube offers a fantastic range of leisure facilities. There are 2 large outdoor pools with sun loungers, paved terraces and lawned areas. The facilities also include a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a gymnasium along with tennis and squash courts on site. In addition for the children, there are activity groups and daily sporting events and separate play areas. 
 
Bicycles are also available for rent. For relaxation there are a number of indoor and outdoor bars and a selection of snack bars and restaurants to choose from. Boats run to the private beach at regular intervals throughout the day. This really is a wonderful place for the kids and for an action packed holiday! 
 
Cabanas is a small and pretty fishing village and is not overcrowded with tourists. It remains largely unspoilt and has a friendly, family atmosphere. The whole village can be leisurely strolled, from end to end, in around 30 minutes and has an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and cafes catering for all tastes - most of which are along the sea front capturing the day time sunshine. For smaller budgets and a taste of the real Algarve, there are also a number of traditional bars and Tascas serving typical Portuguese meals in the back streets at very reasonable prices! The village has 2 good supermarkets with a range of fresh produce and there is also a daily market, butchers and bakers. There are relatively few gifts shops, but in the height of summer, there are stalls selling handcrafted goods. Cabanas is not a destination for those seeking activity and night life - the atmosphere is generally relaxed and is perfect for socialising, relaxing and dining. Good bus/rail links. 
 
Cabanas Beach Island: The Algarve is famous for its wonderful sandy shores! Cabanas beach Island is no exception and is reached by the Golden Clube's small private boats. Separated by an arm of the River Formosa the sands are golden and clean and offer good standards of bathing and sun worshipping. Directly adjacent is the new boating Marina where fishing boats are working and trips can be taken. Speed boat water taxis are also available from Cabanas Beach front which provide a great source of transportation to nearby beaches of which Tavira Island can be highly recommended for a Tropical Holiday adventure!

By travelling a little further afield there are a good range of things to do to suit all tastes. For nature lovers there are forest walks, cruises along the River Guadiana or natures trails along the Ria Formosa Reserve where bird watching is in abundance! In the West there are some excellent shopping centres in Faro and Ghia as well as the famous Water Parks and Zoo Marine, all easily reached by car (around 45 minutes) or by day trip coach. From this property it is easy to take a day trip to Spain. The lovely border town of Ayamonte is not far by car where you can sample the delights of another country, including wine, tapas and excellent shopping. Or you can travel by car, local bus or train to Vila Real de Santo Antonio and from there take the 15 minute ferry crossing to Ayamonte. For the more adventurous the vibrant city of Seville is approx 170km away. For budding historians the Castle at Castro Marim is worth a look.
