The Lake Resort: A 5 Star hotel/apt complex. This 1 bedroom apartment located on the ground floor has private balconies, with a view over the marina and garden. The sports and leisure facilities include extensive gardens, 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a spa and a fitness centre with an indoor treatment pool. It also has 3 outdoor pools, one of which has a natural sand bottom, mini-club, library, boutique and covered parking.

The Lake Resort is in an ideal location in the centre of Vilamoura, facing the beach, between the marina and the sea, just 20 minutes from the Faro International Airport and two and a half hours from Lisbon or Seville by motorway.

30,000 m2 of gardens, the beach on the horizon, the marina in the background and the lake at your doorstep. Perfect places to meditate, walk, read a book or simply feel the fresh grass under your feet. Peaceful moments in pleasant company, close to the ocean.

Total relaxation surrounded by clear water, with 3 outdoor pools, including a heated pool and one with a unique sandy beach.

The apartments are fully equipped with kitchnette, laundry room, storage space, security and one allocated parking place. They include television with a choice of channels from an internal network, cable and satellite, as well as telephone and safe.

All guests must register with front desk to pick up keys and remote controls, a credit card will be required for all hotel charges such as telephone usage, wireless internet, golf reservations, etc.

    My husband and I moved to Vilamoura, Portugal in March 2006 having bought four properties which we rented out for holiday bookings. On arrival, we found ourselves having to rent someone else's property as ours were either booked out or awaiting completion!
