Villa 'Areias Azuis' The Holiday 'Party Palace' located in a quiet cul de sal in Varandas Do Lago, near Quinta Do Lago. The development of Varandas do Lago is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, neighbouring Club do Ancão and Vale do Garrão. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the development is within easy reach of the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, close to miles and miles of golden beaches.

Villa 'Areias Azuis' is a spacious 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom villa suitable for upto 8 adults or 10 including children, it boasts a fabulous indoor / outdoor living space perfect for two families sharing or several friends enjoying a sunny holiday together. In the garden and poolside there are lots of outdoor sofa's, sunloungers, dining tables & chairs to totally forget about the 'real world' now's the time to relax and soak up the Algarvean sunshine.

There is a brand new party kitchen with large island unit – perfect for mixing up G&T's at cocktail o'clock - then move on out to the outdoor entertainment area with bbq, music system, shady terraces, grassy garden and a massive pool that is 11 metres x 5 ½ metres – you can do proper laps (but that would be called exercise) or have a fantastic pool volleyball game in or if that's too energetic you can just cool off in the outdoor shower and flop out on a sun lounger and read your favourite book.

The combined lounge / dining room has 5 terrace doors leading onto the outdoor area – there is a wonderful feeling of space and light, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax and chill out while on holiday. The living area also has internet connection & laptop, plasma tv, sky satellite and playstation games console to keep the kids amused.

All four spacious bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms and the upstairs bedrooms each have a terrace to enjoy watching the sun dip away on the horizon.

We recommend flying into Faro - alternatively arrive by car from the A22.

Varandas do Lago is a development of prestige villas located between Vale Do Lobo and Quinta Do Lago. The villa borders the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and leads onto Ancao Beach - a great beach for restaurants and watersports.
Within the local area there is an enormous array of quality restaurants & portuguese cafes - something for every budget.

Changeover days are flexible but during the summer months it is more likely to be on a Saturday or Wednesday. It is necessary to vacant the villa by 10.30am on the day of departure in the high season.
Access to the villa is after 3pm on day of arrival unless previous arrangements have been made. If you rent only 1,2 or 3 bedrooms the remaining bedrooms will be locked. You are still renting the entire villa but not all the bedrooms/bathrooms. You will have access to all the other rooms in the villa.

Thankyou for making our holiday special!!! The villa was fabulous!! The photographs really do not do the property justice.

The villa was furnished and presented to a very high standard .Housekeeper Anna was very particular and the standard of cleanliness was exceptional. She even gave us some tips for shopping and eating out.

I have already recommended you to friends and family and hope to return to the Algarve soon.

SandyBlue offered a friendly and professional service from start to finish. On arrival it was nice to meet with Donna and have a helpful and friendly person, not just a phone number, for the duration of our stay. The mini bus was a great help, especially transporting such a large party and the driver a perfect gentleman. All in all we will be back next year !
