Vivenda Malpique is situated just north of the Old Town area of the popular resort of Albufeira. The patio area surrounding the villa and private pool are ideal for sunbathing and the terrace provides great views over the town. Whilst the barbeque lets you enjoy your own alfresco meals, there are numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance. 
Just a 30 minute drive from Faro International Airport, it is the ideal base for those who want to hire a car and get out and explore the Algarve, or it is convenient enough for those who want to be within walking distance of bars, shops and restaurants. 
Albufeira is about 40km west of Faro on Portugal's south coast. It reclines between low-lying hills and seven beautiful beaches and is one of Portugal's most popular resorts, patronised by tourists of all ages and nationalities. 
The Sao Joao area is ideal for young people looking for lazy days on the beach and a buzzing nightlife. During the day, why not explore the old town, with its quaint cobblestone streets and original fishermen's houses. In nearby Guia, there's a marine park (Zoomarine) which is home to sea lions and dolphins, and also has swimming pools and children's fairground rides. Golf is very popular as are the numerous watersports on offer.
