Vacation Rental Description
This luxury south-facing 3-bed penthouse on the prestigious Corcovada development is set in a quiet yet convenient area to the east of Albufeira. The privately owned apartment is in a gated condominium with secure access to a large swimming pool and children’s pool set in landscaped gardens. Four sets of patio doors lead onto a large terrace for alfresco dining and relaxing. Leather settees and dining chairs provide comfortable seating for 6 or more guests to relax or watch free-view channels or DVDs on a large-screen TV. A large fully-equipped kitchen provides all you could require for catering. It is easy to walk to many restaurants and bars close by, the famous ’Strip’, and to the beach. A cheap taxi ride (€5) or bus ride will take you to the Old Town although you can walk there. The site has its own shops and club bar/restaurant. Air-conditioning/heating is provided in all bedrooms and the living area. If your party is large we can arrange to book several apartments close together for you.
Facilities
There is a very large terrace with a large dining table and chairs, and sunbeds. Around the large pool and children's pool are sunbeds, sunshades, and tables/chairs. There is also a bar/restaurant/ciber cafe on site with a children's play area and crazy golf. By the complex is a DVD rental shop. There are several supermarkets close by and local restaurants are a few minutes walk away. There are two excellent sandy beaches within walking distance mostly on level ground. Beach towels are provided.
Activities
Parque da Corcovada is well located for access to 9 golf courses within 40 minutes drive, the closest being 10 minutes away, and there are another 26 courses to try along the Algarve! Elected as the “Established golf destination of the year 2006” it attracts many golfing visitors from all over the world to play on the finest and most challenging courses.
The local beaches are safe and are patrolled by life guards.
Most watersports are available along the Algarve.
The famous 'strip' with lots of restaurants and bars is within walking distance, if you want to join the lively young set.
Visits can be made by car or day trip to many other towns, local markets, and attractions.

The apartment is in a condominium of 3 buildings sharing a large pool and children's pool in the middle of attractive gardens. The development location is in a quiet area 2 kilometres to the East of Albufeira, having good bus services or cheap taxis into the old town. There are many excellent restaurants and bars within a short walk to suit all tastes and pockets. Travel Options
- Nearest Airport : Faro at 43 kilometers distance;
- Nearest Train Station : Albufeira at 2 kilometers distance
- Nearest Town : Albufeira at 2 kilometers distance
- Travel Info: Transfers from Faro airport take around 35 to 40 minutes. An alternative airport is Seville which is only 2 hours by car. Lisbon is about 3 hours away by car if using the motorway.

Prices for the property per week are in UK Pounds. Please contact the owner for preferential rates for long term lettings. Rates for stays of less than 1 week are calculated as 1/7th of the applicable weekly rate per day plus £30. Contact us for special Spring bookings! A non-refundable deposit will be required on booking and the balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the arrival date. Payment by bank transfer or cheque. A security deposit for breakages and losses is required to be paid with the balance (refundable within 2 weeks of return if no loss incurred). The apartment will normally be available from 3pm on the day of arrival (earlier if cleaning complete) and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure (unless there is no early arriving following guest).

Owners Profile
ALbufeira is a popular ALgarve town that is busy all of the year. It has great nightlife and beaches and there are many places to visit in the area. It is lovely to watch the fishermen at Amacao da Pera cleaning their nets and boats on the beach. The seafood restaurants here are particularly good. Feragudo is also very pretty and as yet unspoilt by excessive commercialisation. Lagos and Luz are excellent places to visit and only take an hour to reach. Silves has a lovely moorish castle in excellent condition. If you are free on a Saturday then visit Loule gipsy market, or the larger market at Quartiera on a Wednesday. While you are there be sure to call in on the wonderful fish market, but get there early!
