The complex is situated down a quiet lane just off the main road between Olhos D'Agua and Albufeira in a small village called Balaia. The apartment overlooks both the pools and the tennis courts in the complex (Lote 9) or the Countryside and the sea in the background (Lote 11). At the end of the quiet road (around a 4 minute walk) are several excellent and inexpensive restaurants which I can recommend for the good food and friendly service.

Twenty minutes walk to the left brings you to the beautiful beach at Olhos D'Agua which has really good restaurants. Twenty minutes walk in the opposite direction brings you to the bustling large town of Albufeira where you are spoilt for choice for things to do and places to eat. Just before you reach Albufeira there is another beach called Santa Eulalia where you will find restaurants and beach bars etc.

The nearest beach is more or less across the road from the apartment at "Club Med" and the beach is called Maria Luis.
