Buganvilias is a farmhouse,sitting in 5 acres of private land,runned by Isabel and her daughter Madalena,who gave up city life,for the simple country life. 
We are in the heart of the Natural Park of Vicentina Coast,2 Km from 2 beautiful beaches,Carvalhal and Alteirinhos. 
The living area is relatively small,sheltered from the winds of the sea,because of the garden,built with love by the onwers,over the years ,creating a warm and serene atmosphere of privacy,becoming a haven for a relaxing family vacation,a short break for stress,a romantic rendez-vous,or for a big goupe friends holiday. 
Buganvilias,offers two exclusive houses, 
Casa Buganvilia,the biggest,with accommodation for 2 families,up to seven people,(including some children),has 3 double bedrooms, 
Walking through the garden,we found Palmeira house,also with private garden. 
Has 2 bedrooms,.Seeps 2 up to 5 persons. 
We spoiled with love our guests;breakfast every morning as o extra option,served on the terrace,and surprise,surprise,our “Chef” can prepare all meals,ordered in advence,consireded as an extra too. 
Have a nice Holiday. 
If you are more of an adventurous type however, don´t forget to bring your binoculars along for a fascinating activity of bird watching. The house is also available during the pleasantly mild winter months. Enjoy a cosy night in with a book or movie by the antique wood stove, or take a stroll on the many neighbouring pathways and take in the crisp fresh air. Relax and come enjoy the many benefits of Alentejo´s countryside!

    • Integrated in the wonderful Vicentina Coast and Sudoeste Alentejano Natural Park, the Zambujeira do Mar Beach is surrounded by high cliffs, from where one has an amazing panorama over the ocean. The ocean tides are sometimes quite strong, with good conditions for the practice of surf and body board. The beach is situated next to the centre of the lovely Zambujeira do Mar village, with a direct access. Quite frequented during summer time, the region is nowadays famous for the Summer Festival, one of the most important and renowned in the Country, bringing to Zambujeira some of the most important names in the music industry. The local gastronomy is varied, reflecting the county´s diversity, but is specially proud of serving fresh fish, from the famous grilled sea bream to fish stew, "percebes" (barnacles), shellfish, conger’s stew and seafood rice. Zambujeira do Mar, the dazzling beauty of the beach of white sand is enhanced by the tall basalt cliffs.
