Quinta do Chocalhinho is situated in Bemposta village, only a step away from a Natural Park, “Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano”, and 2 km from the town of Odemira. The sea is also at hand: in 15-20 minutes you can reach, among others, well-known beaches, such as Zambujeira do Mar, Almograve or Vila Nova de Milfontes.

The farm stretches over an area of 175 acres, crossed by trails whose sides are lined by hundred-year-old olive trees that lead us to a dam. Any trail you take will lead you to a surprising landscape: be it a dam, a peaceful lake surrounded by thick woods or a hill with a bird’s eye view of the farm.

Whether you feel like going for long walks, bicycle rides and picnics, or giving a hand in the bio kitchen garden, discovering the local flora, or watching the many species of birds, you’ll find here the best place to indulge in all these outdoor activities, not to mention the swimming-pool and the tennis court; but if, on a rainy day, you choose to stay indoors, why not have a pleasant cards game near an original and cosy fireplace?

Quinta do Chocalhinho – bought in 1942 by Luis Freitas – and now belonging to his grandson, who spent most of his childhood there – offers ten rooms, all with TV.

				High Season Price:	€110 per Day

Cancellation: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 4 days before date of arrival, 40 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first two nights will be charged. Children and extra beds: All children under 12 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel. Deposit40 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. No credit cards accepted, only cash. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
