Vacation Rental Description
Easy public transport by bus or cab to Schiphol airport and trainstation. 
The attic room is app 30m2 (100 ft2), fully furbished and bright with lots of daylight. The room has a sofa couch. It's thoroughly insulated and has a central heating system. The entrance to the attic room gives to a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There are nice views over the neighbouring streets, roofs and trees.  
 
 
The very centre of Amsterdam, canals, museumquarter, Vondelpark and Concertgebouw are at walking distance. There are bicycle rentals nearby. The street with large trees in a quiet neigbourhood consists of 19th century buildings with original details. Our house is a listed monument.

    • Recommendable is walking through the narrow streets of the Jordaan area with lots of shops, galleries, cafe's and restaurants. Anne Frankhuis near the Westerkerk is at a 15/20 minutes walk. So are the museums and the Vondelpark. 
    There are also day markets to be visited, and one can participate on a guided tour to the red light district. Biking in town is much appreciated bij our foreign guests, and for the more adventurous it is possible to make longer trips outside the town along old rivers or old sea dikes.

    • Nearest Train Station : Amsterdam Centraal at 3 kilometers distance
    • Travel Info: Busses from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (nr 197, Conexxion)In front of Schiphol Plaza brings you in 30 minutes to stops Leidseplein or Marnixstraat, from there 7 minutes walk to Attic Appartment Bosboom Toussaintstraat 27. By train Schiphol Amsterdam Airport to Centraal Station Amsterdam, 15 minutes, and then take tram 1,2 or 5 to Leidseplein, or tram 17 to Marnixstraat/Elandsgracht. 7 minutes walk. Or busses 170/172 from Centraal Station to Raamplein, from there 3 minutes walk to Bosboom Toussaintstraat 27.

    Just back from a wonderful stay at Harm's attic apartment. Bright, clean, fresh and with everything you need to feel at home. The sun was shining for most of our stay, it was so lovely to be up amongst the trees with birds singing and a great view of the city

    The apartment is very central to everything, and Harm is a great host. Having stayed in a good few apartments around the city this has to be one of the best (not just in terms of value for money).

    Wonderful place!
    Apartment is an especially pleasant space in a quiet residential area yet, a short distance to all the other charms of Amsterdam.
    The apartment owner leaves you to discover and experience while providing all the comforts of home.
    I would highly recommend it and hope to go back someday.

    Excellent location, clean, bright, modern and delightful. Pleasantly appointed with all modern conveniences. Nice Neighborhood and we received a good recommendation for a bike rental shop. I hope to stay again.

    Easy going, self catering

    Dear future guests,
    My many guests enjoyed especially the sense of freedom that comes with the attic room. Although I am available for questions or help, all my guests, whatever country they originated from, enjoyed themselves and found easely their own way in wonderful Amsterdam.
    Most of the time I end up finding a nice farewell note. And what has stricken me often is the tidyness my guests leave the room: a sign of respect I consider a result of a much enjoyed stay.
