Welcome to Fleur d'Amsterdam!
In a friendly neighbourhood on the east side of the centre of Amsterdam we look forward to having you as our guest.
Fleur d'Amsterdam is run by Fleur van Heek and Coen Borren, together with their three children.
We offer you a spacious, pleasant room with a private bathroom, both at ground level, easily accessible. In short, at Fleur d'Amsterdam you will find a comfortable home away from home after an enjoyable day in Amsterdam.
The comfortable room, situated at ground level, was entirely renovated in 2005.
Two ample single beds can, if preferred, be made up as a double bed.
You will have a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
The room has a digital colour television with 20 channels.
We serve breakfast in the family kitchen or, with pleasant weather, in the romantic garden.
Along with a variety of fresh buns and fruit juices, you may expect eggs from our own chickens.
In addition we serve fresh cappuccino or espresso from our original Italian "Pavoni" coffee machine.
In short, a breakfast that may keep you going all day!

Where and who are we?:
Always wanted to experience the magic City of Amsterdam? Not interested in the hectic and the chaos of the city center? Would you like to sleep nice and quiet in a tranquil village like neighborhood? Then you have found your paradise. Fleur d’ Amsterdam is situated in the Watergraafsmeer, famous for it’s restaurants ( the Kas), and magnificent estate ( Frankendael).
Only 10 minutes by bike (provided) from the hart of the City. And within a walking distance from one of the nicesest Parcs of the city.This B&B is a part of a typical ‘Amsterdamse School’ architecture house, a comfortable room, ground floor level, with a private bathroom. A warm and nice family awaits you, to welcome, inform and help you on every wish you can think of.
Think of our elaborate breakfast, eat eggs from our own chickens! The freshly made cappuccino is famous already. Then take our new bikes ( for free) if you dare! And go on an adventurous trip trough this beautiful city!
Breakfast is great!:
Come and have breakfast with Fleur d' Amsterdam. Fleur is famous for her Italian Cappuccino coffee machine! ( designed in 1928). Or a mint tea freshly from the garden.And with a little luck our chickens will have laid a fresh egg for you! We will have a variety off fresh brown and white buns with freshly squeezed orange's juice. The breakfast is so elaborate that you will be satisfied for hours!
Surroundings:
As said we are close to the City, but not so close that we have all the trouble!! Our neighborhood, only 10 minutes away from the center, is tranquil and quiet, green and leisure some. With little shops and bars and restaurants, with a fountain in the middle of the street, and children playing in it. On our bikes or by tram ( 4 minutes away is tram nr. 9) you will be in town in a 'wink'.
But you don't need to go 'downtown', you can also stay in our neighborhood and enjoy the special meals from restaurant The Kas or eat at the Pub across the street, where everybody knows your name! ( and live Jazz on Tuesdays). Or eat at 'la Teatina', where they cook 'slow food' fresh from the Italian kitchen.
Or sit outside at Cafe/restaurant 1900, and stare at the fountain. The Zoo and the Tropical Museum are in walking distance as are two beautiful parks, where numerous festivals are held in the Spring, Summer and Autumn. Be welcome, enjoy Amsterdam

Further Details:
Quietly situated in de district "Watergraafsmeer" just east of the centre of Amsterdam, we are an excellent starting point for exploring the historic city centre, the museums, and the nightlife of Amsterdam.
You can walk to Restaurant Polder, de Kas and Lavallade. The Artis Zoo is ten minutes away by bicycle.
A daily market - "Dappermarkt" - and the Tropical Museum are literally around the corner. The city centre is only ten minutes away by streetcar, bus, or taxi.
Would you like to use bicycles, like everybody else? We have them for you!
We also have museum cards for you, free access to all major museums ( van Gogh and Rijks!)
