Vacation Rental Description
Part of an old stone house, this stylish apartment on Museum Square has been carefully restored to ensure visitors enjoy the modern day requirements and facilities, whilst still retaining the charm of an older property. It has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) with a double sofa bed in the spacious open plan lounge. It has quality Italian tiles and original parquet flooring throughout and attention to detail can be seen in the original artwork that decorates the walls. The apartment has airconditioning and heating and makes a convenient base for breaks all year round.
It is located in the very heart of Kotor’s Old Town overlooking the beautiful Museum square which boasts a continental café culture style, interspersed with numerous boutique shops.
The apartment has its own entrance to the rear and is set against the backdrop of Mount Orijen and the old fort ruins which surround the UNESCO protected old town.
Often dubbed a 'mini-Dubrovnik' because of its elegant Venetian architecture, Kotor has traffic-free marble tiled narrow streets opening up onto bustling squares where you can sit outside one of the many cafes, enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The clean sea is close by, with both swimming platforms along the edge of the bay, and sandy and pebbled beaches close by. Larger beaches along the Adriatic coast are from a 15 minute drive away.
Kotor is host to many festivals and concerts throughout the year, making it a great year-round destination, both for holidays and short breaks. It is a buzz at night with a range of bars and restaurants and makes an exciting and different destination for New Year celebrations.
The main square and the water's edge of the magnificent Kotor Bay are just minutes walk away.
