The Owl is a spacious farmhouse located in the quaint village of Qala, on the sister island of Malta - Gozo. This 300 year old farmhouse is full of traditional maltese architectural features and has been lovingly restored and refurbished to a high modern standard. A large garden with it's own swimming pool and BBQ area provides the ideal setting for many a relaxing summer day by the pool. 
 
The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite, a kitchen, living room, garage, terrace, roof and garden. The Owl is conveniently located close to the harbour and within a 5 minute drive from several nearby beaches. Local amenities include restaurants, bars and food stores including others. The island of Gozo is in itself a beautiful island that provides excellent diving and sightseeing opportunities. Gozo is only a 20 minute ferry ride away from Malta yet light years away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living!  
 
We would want to rent this house to a person who takes care of it in the same way we have done over the years. Several photos are available on request, we'd be happy to send these over to you or arrange for a viewing.

Well, after spending a week there I can say that the pictures don't give credit to the farmhouse, the owner Frankie is a very helpful person, he explained all we needed to know, together with a chart of the surroundings, thus making it easy to find everything we needed. The farmhouse is kids friendly and pet friendly. My puppy max behaved a lot and he s missing the place already.:) re: pool, you don't have to wait till midday to have sun on the pool, at 7am the pool is already being blessed and kissed with the sun's rays, till late in the evenng. The area where is farmhouse is situatated is a very peaceful one, where one can roam around in a confident way, the grocers are just 3 min max walk away, together with a pharmarcy just around the corner, one can find a pub, wine bar and restaurants without the need of a car. The people there are all very helpful, in the farmhouse one can find a washing machine as well, the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary utensils, all is neat and clean. I d recommend this farmhouse for the one's who are looking to have a complete package, ie comfort, luxury and a peacful rest. Will surely go there again. Thanks from my heart, the time spent there was a breath of fresh air after all the stress I went through 6 months ago after loosing my dad to leukemia, I only wished he was still alive so that he could have joined us.
