Vacation Rental Description
This new one bedroom apartment with open country views is situated in a peaceful area of Victoria, within walking distance of all amenities and attractions. Being situated in the centre of the island, it is an ideal base to explore Gozo by car, as well as for walking or hiking holidays to explore the surrounding beautiful countryside, villages and bays. It consists of an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a very comfortable sofa bed that easily sleeps two small children or one adult. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a holiday including, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and washing machine/dryer. There is also a television in the living area with cable TV channels and a telephone. Free Wi fi.
There is also an air-conditioned double bedroom with plenty of storage space, linen, towels and warm bedding and a bathroom with shower.
This apartment is located within a large townhouse but has its own separate private entrance from the main road. There is ample parking space in front of the building.
This apartment is ideal for a couple, but can cater for for up to 3 adults; or for 2 adults and a child comfortably.
Facilities
Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with a very comfortable double sofa bed Well equipped kitchen: cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster,washing machine/dryer. TV with cable channels in English, Maltese and Italian. DVD player. Free Wi-fi. A small collection of reading books & magazines. The double bedroom is air conditioned (hot and cold) with plenty of storage space, linen, towels and warm bedding and a bathroom with shower.
Activities
All amenities are found in Victoria including the central bus station,shops,restaurants,banks,car rental companies & grocery stores.
There are many interesting places places to visit, including the Citadel fortifications, St Mary's Cathedral, Law Courts, several museums, an open market, several open air cafes,St. George's Basilica & other churches, & a web of old narrow streets that are worth a walk around.
There are also two major Church feasts in Victoria, among others, which are the feast of St. George in July & the feast of Assumption of the Virgin Mary in August, characterised by church functions, band marches, horse racing, decorations, lights & fireworks displays.
The apartment is a 25 min walk or 5 min drive to MARSALFORN bay, where there are many restaurants, small beaches & rocky platforms to swim from with clear waters & a diving school. From here one can also take a boat cruise around Gozo or to Comino island.

Overlooking rolling fields and hills, this is an ideal place to stay. The appartment had everything we needed and was in easy walking distance of a good grocery shop and the centre of Victoria. Sam and Doris make perfect hosts. Highly recommended - we will be back!
