On the second floor there is an elegant and sunny master bedroom, a bathroom with a spacious and modern shower, the terrace and a small living room. The terrace is fitted to host for dinner 6 persons and is the perfect scenario for a sun bed, a candle light (equipped) dinner or a decent cigar reading a good book.

We have thought of The Red House as a different approach to Venice. We have decided to leave the baroc and gothic to be seen and lived outside and instead, we have furnished our house with modern design interiors.
The Full HD screens, the black large sofa with a comfortable relaxing island and the natural rover parquet meet the classic master bedroom and the family sailors roots in the twin bedroom.
Outside the The Red house there is a quick access to some of the most prestigious museums and art galleries. In fact within 20 minutes walk ,and starting with Palazzo Grassi, there are all Venetian museums such as: Museo Correr, The Duke Palace, San Marco's Cathedral, The Prisons, Punta Della Dogana, Magazzini del Sale, Cà Rezzonico, Cà Pesaro and many more.
The Red House is very close to relaxing campiellos and narrow streets that host some of the nicest Bacaros (typical Venetian tapas bar) and Trattorie.

The Red House was built by the Guilt of German Bakers in the 12th century and then further restored up to the pre-napoleonic period with the same look and orientation. It has been fully restored for the first time, after at least 300 years, in 2008/09. The area was populated very early in the town history due to the fact that it is equally distant from Rialto and San Marco, the business and religious/political centres of the town. All major Families in the 12th till the 14th century have established there their main HQ that were: house, warehouse and trade-centers. Some families had ownerships, control or strong interest in the Holy Land, Cyprus, Crete, Cyclades, Croatian coast, Spain, Sardinia, Sicily and from these palaces they were receiving goods, Ambassadors, and orchestrating military actions against the enemy, the Turks. In some cases against the business competitors such as Genoa, Amalfi, Pisa or another Venetian family.
