4 Bedroom Villa in Trevi

Villa Casa Lupo used to be a farming estate and is located on a picturesque hillside surrounded by olive groves and truffle filled forests. The property has been restored and furnished to exceptionally high standards, using original tile floors, wood beam and brick ceilings, stone walls and antique furniture. Enjoy the romance of the Italian countryside while living in the lap of luxury with all the modern conveniences of internet access in most rooms, cable TV, DVD, a gourmet kitchen and outdoor pizza oven, large pool, caretaker and more.  
 
The villa has four bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom. On the ground floor is the living room, as well as a large, gourmet kitchen accessible to two terraces and the out door pizza oven. There is also a laundry room and half-bath on this floor. The second floor is comprised of a family room ,TV room, and two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with both a queen size bed and two built-in twin beds on a low platform under the windows. The top floor has two more large bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen size bed. The villa will comfortably sleep 8 adults, (or 4 couples), plus 2 to 4 children.  
 
We have a stunning view of the medieval hill town of Trevi, famous for its olive oil and olive museum. In the morning, walk or drive into Trevi for a cappuccino in the old piazza, explore its winding cobblestone streets and discover its ancient archways and thrilling views. The exceptional hill towns of Assisi, Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, and Spello are within easy reach for a afternoon visit or evening meal. Spoleto hosts the famous Spoleto festival, full of dance and theater events, starting late June. Perugia, only 30 minutes away, hosts the renowned Umbrian Jazz Festival. A little further a field, spend a day in Todi, surrounded by stunning green hills, buy pottery in Deruta, and sip Orvieto Classico after admiring the Cathedrals and Gothic architecture in Orvieto. Florence, Siena and Rome are about 2 hours by car or train. Of the many exciting day trips possible, Valnerina, a steep, mountain valley known for its saints and hermits, is a must, with its deep gorges, white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking, and the town of Norcia, famous for its delicious cured meats and lentils. Most importantly, enjoy the welcoming hospitality of the gentle Umbrian locals, who excel at echoing the nature of their most famous saint, Saint Francis of Assisi.

Road bikers love this area of Italy for its many picturesque back country roads. There is also a bike path running through the valley and bikes can be rented in nearby Spoleto or Foligno. Hike in the surrounding hills, or go white water rafting, hiking or horseback riding in the valley of Valnerina. Boating and sunbathing can be found at Lago Trasimeno, about 45 minutes north. Best of all, explore the nearby medieval hill towns and sample the delicious food and local delicacies at the many excellent restaurants nearby.
