The apartment is surrounded by woods, olive groves, fields and paths and there are no paved roads in the valley.
A short drive drive from beautiful lakes and the largest waterfall in Europe, the Mamore Falls. Easy access to towns and restaurants. There is plenty to see and do in the area.
The medieval hill top town of Todi is surrounded by countryside full of hills and lakes and medieval castles. The ancient oak forests, olive groves, vineyards and fields of sunflowers and alfalfa are full of paths and walking trails. The Arnata Valley immediately around the Villa Arnata is excellent and varied walking country. The paths go right from the door and there are no paved roads.
Local markets and exhibitions showing local craftsman abound in the summer months. There are Jazz festivals, blues festivals, rock festivals and art festivals. Nearly every village has it's own summer party week when local meals are served in the open air and afterwards there is dancing to local live bands.
There are Roman ruins at nearby Carsulae, three Roman bridges to be found in the Arnata Valley and the fossil forest at Dunarobba. Every small medieval village and town is a work of art. Most were castles and some still have the castle walls.
Beaches can be found at Lake Piediluco, Lake Corbara, Lake Trasimeno and Lake Bolsena. It is possible to go on boat tours on all of the lakes.
