Casa Santa Maria has been beautifully restored retaining it’s original medieval features. It enjoys an incredible panoramic position at the edge of the classic hilltown of Preci. Two large terraces offer stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys - ideal to soak up the sun and immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere or perhaps enjoy the sunset followed by dinner under a canopy of stars. Guests have free use of a beautiful swimming pool (with bar and restaurant) just a three minute stroll along the traffic free streets of the town. Casa Santa Maria is within the Monti Sibillini National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of Italy and it is a haven for wildlife and wild flowers. The forgotten trails that crisscross the hills and mountains make it a walker’s paradise. Sample the excellent Umbrian cuisine with a friendly welcome in the restaurants, bars and shops, all within 10 mins walk. The cultural towns of Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto and Rome are all easy to visit.
There are 3 spacious double/twin bedrooms, 1 double room and another with a double sofabed.
There are 3 large bathrooms. 2 bathrooms have a large shower, basin and toilet.
Bathroom 3 has a bath with a shower over, a basin and toilet. Here, there is a washing machine.
The kitchen is very traditional and rustic with a corner fireplace which can be used for barbeque cooking, a separate cooker and extractor, a marble double sink, and a fridge freezer. There is also an ironing board, a steam iron and clothes airer. There is ample crockery, glasses, and cooking utensils.
The large lounge has two sofas, a coffee table, a TV and a DVD/CD player.
The beautiful dining room is furnished with an oak refectory table and an original stone fireplace.
The two large terraces have plenty of tables and chairs for dining "al fresco" and parasols and loungers.
The following costs are included:
Towels and bed linen (changed weekly), final cleaning.
Please provide towels for the pool.
Gas, central heating and electricity are not included. Meters are read on arrival and departure and these services are charged at cost.
Firewood is 10 euros a day.
