Vacation Rental Description
Gianesi is sited at the end of an attractive track from the 'hard' road above the village of Gioiello. The house, set into a hillside, with accommodation for 6, is spread over three levels. Off the main dining terrace is the main living area - with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room with wood-burning stove, a comfortable sitting room with TV and video, and a twin bedroom.

Down a spiral staircase is a shower room and double bedroom with french doors leading into the garden. On the top level, with its own front door is a spacious twin studio bedroom with a large ensuite bath and shower room.

Outside, on the main large sunny terrace, there is a BBQ and a large pergola to give shade for dining. The hillside garden has paths meandering through a small wooded area, a small orchard and a path leading down to the 10 x 5m pool and lounging terrace. There are steps from the studio to the main house and down the side of the house.

There are wonderful views over the rolling hills and valleys from both the house and garden.
Although sleeping 6, Gianesi is an ideal property for a couple on their own as well as a family.

    • The nearest village, Gioiello, is a few minutes away by car. In the village, is a well-stocked general store, a chemist. bar and family pizzeria/restaurant. There is also a tennis court for hire.

    Within a few miles, in the nearby towns and villages, there are supermarkets, markets and a wide range of restaurants. There is a golf course outside Citta di Castello.

    Gianesi is in an ideal position for walking, painting and bird-watching.
