The Country House was born from a medieval hamlet situated in the Umbria-Marches Apennines on the territory of Piobbico, close to charming localities like Urbino, Acqualagna and San Marino. The original structure was accurately renovated and fitted out to provide all comforts yet preserving the spirit of an ancient rural settlement.
Description and accomodations
The facility includes four flats situated in four detached small houses.
Piuma – three-roomed flat, sq m 80, sleeps 4+4 – living room with kitchen and sofa bed, two double bedrooms with two bathrooms and two independent accesses.
Nido – three-roomed flat, sq m 55, sleeps 4+2, living room with kitchen and sofa bed, two double bedrooms with two bathrooms and two independent accesses (equipped for disabled guests).
Volo – sq m 90, sleeps 5+4, habitable kitchen, one double bedroom, one small bedroom with bunk bed, bedroom sleeping 3/5 with small living room fitted with sofa bed, one bathroom with shower and hydromassage bathtub, three independent accesses.
Ala – two-roomed flat, sq m 62, sleeps 3+2 – on ground floor: two accesses, bathroom with shower, living room with kitchen, dishwasher, wood-fired fireplace and sofa bed – upstairs, one double bedroom with air conditioning, WC with basin, wardrobe cabin.
All rooms feature TV; satellite TV and Internet connection in all flats.
A relax area has been created in a one hectare oak-wood crossed by panoramic paths; it features a vast solar panel heated swimming pool , with powerful water jet for counter current swimming, and a roomy solarium equipped with maxi sun beds. Gazebos and pergolas including exclusive areas for each flat, barbecue and common children’s play area for pleasant outdoor moments.
What to do - The surroundings - Hill
Thanks to its strategic location the facility is an excellent starting point for visiting important artistic, cultural, naturalistic and leisure centres like Urbino, Assisi, Arezzo, San Marino, Riccione’s Delphinarium and Frasassi Caves.
The facility enjoys spectacular views of the impressive hamlet of Piobbico and its Brancaleoni Castle as well as of Mount Nerone’s peaks and its several and fascinating caves, which are very popular among speleologists, ramblers and nature lovers.
Gourmets will discover an area rich in tastes and aromas: in addition to Aqualagna’scelebratedtruffles, mushrooms, fine cheeses and wild bore charcuterie.
