In the hill country of Alta Maremma Toscana ,the interplay of sun and shadow emphasise the simple marvels of nature, San Tommaso Farm house , situated among the green olive trees and the vineyards at the Val di Cecina, offers the typical hospitality of a farm holiday in well restored apartments, which have been designed under the personal supervision of the owner. 
The San Tommaso country house can satisfy the different needs of people who are looking to relax in contact with nature, to enjoy the swimming pool, and to go walking or trekking in the nearby nature parks. 
In 30 minutes you can be by the sea where you can enjoy beautiful walks along the seashore, swim in the sea or just sunbathe on the beach. 
You can also take a bike or mountain bike to the nearby river Cecina where you can swim in its clear water. To get around the country side with a bicycle or motorcycle is ideal and you will experience the emotions of the countryside and the panoramas which are unique in the world. 
You can enjoy our excellent food with genuine local products such as extra virgin olive oil and bread made in a wood oven. 
You can also taste the wonderful wines of the region, you can take the tourists itinerary of the wine road such as ”the wine road of Vernaccia di S.Gimignano”. 
Above all, in about an hour you can reach the most important art cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena,Lucca, Pisa and S. Gimignano; in just 20/30 minutes you can reach Volterra and Massa Marittima. 
The apartments have been designed by the owner to keep the atmosphere of a typical country house in Tuscany. They have tiled floors and antique furniture, they are comfortable for short and longer stays. 
They have independent entrances and some private space to give you privacy. 
The owner lives in one of the apartments where he is involved with the vineyard, his olive trees and the house garden.. 
He is always available to help with any problems. 
Each apartment is named after a tree or plant frequently found in the area, Around each apartment there is an example of the tree.
