Vacation Rental Description
In a classic country style of Tuscany, "The Poggetto" is surrounded by a large green area ideal for your wide open air evenings, spent under the shade of limes, in front of the oven, with a glass of red wine. At your disposal, pool and wooden patio for the sunny days when the sun hugs the hill. The winery, a few steps from the farm, will offer you wine and extravirgin oil tasting and we’ll take you through the vineyards to tell our way of wine. During the entire season, or on request for small groups, you can find Tuscan cooking and tasting courses. We have renovated the farmhouse “Il Poggetto” lying deep among vineyards of Sangiovese and Malvasia according to the criteria of bioarchitecture in order to offer our guests a comfortable place in a congenial atmosphere coming from the ochre of the paint and of the clay in the vineyard around. On the first floor, the “Il Poggetto” apartment, has 4 bedrooms en suite, a spacious kitchen-sitting room with a big brick fireplace. On the ground floor: “La Mangiatoia” apartment with a living-kitchen, a double bedroom with clothes closet and bathroom; “La Stalla” apartment, with living-kitchen, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside, on the east side of the house, a stone oven will make your evenings even more congenial in the open air with appetizing dishes. At guests disposal, un the east side of the building, the laundry room and the swimmingpool.
We looked for you the most unique and unexpected ways to get over the Valdera and Val di Cecina, cycling, riding or treking, fortresses, castles, crags, accompanying the wheat which waves, and listen to the wind that moves the blades of windmills.A shelter among vineyards for those who wish tranquillity and silence but also a great location for the discovery of Tuscany, at a short distance from the sea side resorts as well as from art cities like Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano.
