In ancient times, the Villa was a 14th century farmhouse on the estate of the Castle of Celsa, and even today, transformed into a well-appointed 3800 sq.ft. Villa with all the comforts available to our guests, it retains some remnants of its history. Set in the peacefulness of the Tuscan countryside the Villa is surrounded by 18 hectares of woods, fields, trees, plants, and flowers. With an extremely peaceful setting, this Villa in Tuscany is comprised of a Main Villa and 5 meters from it an adjacent Guest House(for the exclusive use of guests of the Villa) making it a perfect accommodation for more families or a group of friends who wish to have their own space but still travel together.
Main Villa:
• A large fully-equipped kitchen(350 sq.ft), with a Professional 6 Burner Range. You will find everything required to cook your favourite dishes
• A large dining room with fireplace
• Two large separate living rooms (one with fireplace)
• A private Master Suite that includes a large bedroom(King Size Bed), a cozy living room, a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower
• Two Wood Floor bedrooms: one with a 160 cm Queen-Sized bed and the other one with twin beds (depending on the use it can be turned into a double bedroom)
• One bathroom with shower
• One bathroom with shower and tub
Guesthouse:
a spacious guesthouse(for the exclusive use of guests of the Villa) with:
• Two Bedrooms with a Queen-Sized bed
• One Bedroom with twin beds (depending on the use it can be turned into a double bedroom)
• Two Bathroom(one ensuite) with shower
• A Kitchenette
• A comfortable light-filled living room.
Relax in the peaceful garden with table and chairs for dining alfresco; this is an ideal spot to take in the view and watch the sunset while enjoying an evening drink. There is a beautiful swimming Pool(that uses salt instead of chlorine, a safer and more natural system to purify the water) surrounded by gardens which provides an ideal place to lounge in the afternoons where you can enjoy the colours and perfumes of the surrounding nature while sipping on a glass of local wine.
If you enjoy cooking outside there is a barbecue in the garden overlooking the stunning panorama.
Parking is available within the property grounds.
On request, anytime you want, we can arrange a delicious, traditional Tuscan Meal of your choice or lead you in a Cooking Class. Do not miss our "Pizza Festa " or our "Special Tuscan Bbq", where you will be involved in a fun evening cooking together.
The property shares the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside with proximity to major Tuscan sites.
The location of the villa makes it easily accessible to some of the most beautiful destination in Tuscany such as Siena(15 Kms), San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Chianti area, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienze, etc.
Within 10 minutes you can reach the village of Sovicille with all the services you may require.
The area, which is full of paths, is ideal for those who love going for walks, trekking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Many ancient villages and castles are within easy reach. We are sure you won't forget the tasting excursions in Chianti the land of wine and olive oil. Special events: July 2 and August 16 the world-famous Palio of Siena!
