The antique spaces have been reinvigorated, made more comfortable and personalized whilst using traditional local materials, rough stone, terra cotta, wrought iron, wood.There are six complete and elegant, well-appointed apartments, complete with stylish fitted bathrooms and kitchens. A four-poster bed in one, a carved bedstead in the next, each apartment has its unique style, with precious materials and a unforgettable view through the window. Each one connects with the central patio which has large tables and barbecue. For families who wish to keep an eye on the children or the elderly and nevertheless preserve their privacy, some apartments open up. Ideal for every configuration, for a romantic getaway, a retreat to read and draw but also the perfect basis for family holiday or a group of friends seeking to maintain their independence. It is also perfect for a wedding, birthday or anniversary celebration as living room can open up. An exceptional setting for the most memorable of holidays. Three apartments are ground floor and suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Suite 1: RAFFAELLO – 4 PERSONS
Surface: 85 M2
Located on the ground floor, it has a terrace with a wooden teak deck to dine outside facing the fields.
The living room has large openings and a dining table for 6/8 persons. The separate kitchen area is spacious and modern, with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge and gas cooker, and microwave oven. Two double rooms share a bathroom with shower, stone basin and travertine cladding. Stylish teak furniture and wrought iron bedsteads. Central heating.
The outdoor area has a barbecue, relax chairs and confortable benches, canvas umbrellas. Outdoor shower is available.
Suite 2 : MICHELANGELO – 4 PERSONS
Surface: 82 M2
Located on the ground floor it has an independent entrance through a small patio, a kitchen and dining area inside a reconverted old wood oven, the living area and two double rooms. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge and microwave oven. The bedrooms have a nice view on the cultivated fields. Bathroom with shower, stone basin and wooden/glass elements. Central heating.
Suite 3: GALILEO - 4 PERSONS
Surface: 102 M2
Located on the ground floor it has an independent entrance on the secondary patio but is also connected with the central courtyard through a large kitchen/dining area. The living has been organized inside the old cellar with preserved XIII century tufo walls and huge wooden beams. The two double bedrooms face the central courtyard. The bathroom has a contemporary design bathtub and sink. Kitchen has electric cooker, microwave and fridge.
Apartment 4+5 LEONARDO+TIZIANO Surface: 140 m2 ( 6 Persons )
Located on the first floor this apartment has exceptional quality of spaces and furniture, with a double height living area which benefits from a view on the fields;the kitchen has a large fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, and a contemporary design gas cooker. Teak furniture to ralax and dining table accommodates 10 people.

Tiziano Located on the first floor this apartment is ideal for a couple or for guests that are staying with their friends but wish to keep their own privacy: it has an elegant en suite bedroom with a romantic four-poster bed. The open bathroom has a contemporary design bathtub, stone water basin and a separate wc.
Apartment Giotto
Surface : 35 m2 (2 Persons)
The entrance is located on the backside of the villa, through a small staircase. The apartment is ideal for a single person or a couple who wish for a romantic stay: it has an elegant bedroom with a four-poster teak bed, a kitchen and dining (gas cooker, microwave oven and fridge) and a separate bathroom with shower and stylish contemporary finishing. Central heating.
Facilities
The pizzeria & restaurant ‘il Vecchio Tinaio’ just behind the Villa Typical dishes . If you don’t wish to cook at night nor take your car to go out for dinner.The Trattoria ‘Torri di Stigliano’ (Stigliano , 4 km), the restaurant Cateni in Orgia (3 km) offer a more sophisticated cuisine Basic groceries in Rosia (5 km) or in San Rocco a Pilli ( 7km, COOP supermarket). In San Rocco or Rosia you will also find a bank/cashpoint, postal service, a phamacy, a newspapers shop. River : The River Merse flows just about 100 M from the Villa and you can swim where the river is deepest. The whole area is part of the Natural Park of the Alto Merse so the water is very clean and fresh ! Spa and thermal baths of San Giovanni in Rapolano Terme, about 30 minutes by car, The therms of Petriolo or Saturnia are closer and have a free entrance. Seaside : the Tirrenean sea is about 80Km.
Activities
The main courtyard of Villa Amedeo is for all our guests. You can use the barbecue, the outdoor shower and bathtub. A drying rack is available just next to the shower area, or in the bycicle store. We kindly ask all our guests to keep these items clean and in good shape for others.
Trecking : the Alto Merse and the Montagnola senese have several trecking paths for every season. Torri, Stigliano,Montestigliano and Orgia are authentic tuscan villages which you can reach by foot (less than 4km).
Horserides : a horse center is located just over the river bridge (about 300 m). For horse rides please ask for M.Signorini who lives in the house in front of the patio of the backside of the Villa.
Free bicycles for our guests
Bycicles : these are stored inside a garage on the main facade, the keys are provided upon arrival. We recommend to verify the wheels and to park them inside. Don’t forget to bring plenty of water and a cap with you !
