The apartment is one of 13 in this small newly restored/rebuilt farm complex of 3 buildings. Situated in beautiful rolling hills with views of Volterra, peaceful and quiet for the perfect break. Set along a private 'white' road (with barrier)ensuring very few passing cars, although there are some 'bumps' along this road a 4x4 is not needed. 'Cotto' style flooring and beamed ceilings with new, quality, furnishings make this a comfortable and fully equipped base for exploring the local area or just relaxing. There are 2 shower rooms, 1 is en suite (marble tiled). Delightful garden and 2 terraces for al fresco dining each with lovely views and the perfect place to watch the sunrise. French doors from all rooms open onto the garden areas making this a light, airy apartment. The bedroom has a 6' wrought iron bed with a quality comfortable mattress. Ideal for 2 but in the living room there is a double sofa bed if there are 4 persons to accomodate. The second shower room is off the living room so that each party has its own shower. The kitchen is newly fitted with marble worktop, electric oven, gas hob, extractor fan, toaster and everything needed to self-cater. The dining table matches the kitchen with marble top and 4 chairs. There is a large 'infinity' type communal pool with ample areas for relaxing and a wonderful place to watch the breathtaking sunsets with a glass of wine. Garden and pool loungers are provided. Podere Torricchi is fenced with a pedestrian gate and also a gated car park. A gravel path runs around the perimeter to reach each apartment ensuring privacy. There are also communal garden areas. We have a representative near by who speaks fluent English, Italian and German who will settle you in and can be contacted if there are any unexpected problems, they will also take care of your final cleaning.
