Vellano has two restuarants, a pizzeria and the local social club where meals and pizzas are also prepared plus a bakery/grocery store with fresh bread baked every day - all within a few minutes on foot. 
 
The apartment occupies the whole of ground floor -see photo - with private entrance and large terrace) It has been completely restored and has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, lounge/diningrm with double divan bed, bathroom with shower, a kitchen with washing machine,fridge.small oven plus a large terrace for dining out or just lazing in the sun enjoying the spectacular views. 
 
Nearest town is Pescia where there are shops, banks, supermarkets, markets,restaurants and pizzerias.  
Nearest places of interest are Montecatini Spa town, Pistoia plus of course the beautiful cities of Lucca,Pisa and Florence, all within easy reach also by train from Pescia.  
 
There are open air concerts in the summer at Lucca, the Blues Festival in Pistoia in July and the Puccini Opera at Torre del Lago. There are also music evenings at local restaurant in Vellano plus dances at the social club. 
 
This is also a great walking and cycling area plus there is a winter sport resort just an hour away.
