The town 
A tranquil village nestled in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Appennine foothills, Popolano, a hamlet of Marradi, extends along the Lamone River. Once the between the Pontifical state and the Granduchy of Tuscany, this north-central Italian village is still animated by the tolling bells in the romanesque tower that since time eternal has defined the days of its inhabitants. 
Local Activites 
Among activities available to guest are days along the river, picnics in pine groves, hilkes in the mountains. Nearby swimming pools, tennis courts, and riding stables offer hours of pleasure to sports lovers. 
Tourist Attractions 
The geographical location of Popolano permits one to reach easily by auto or train artistic cities such as Florence (64km), Faenza with its international ceramic museum (33km), Ravenna (78km), or Bologna (90km).The readily accessible Adriatic coast offers pleasant sojourns on the sea.

PINA: A 100 sq. meter partially restored second-floor master apartment offers a kitchen/family room, master bedroom with full bath, spacious livingroom with fireplace opening onto a terrace with a panoramic view.
