Inside the wall of the city, the apartment has been recently renewed and it is furnished with good taste. It offers beautiful panoramic vues on the roofs and on the ancient towers of Lucca.
It is very quiet and very sunny.
Lucca, beside the interesting medioeval historical center, is located near:
A)Alpi Apuane where you can trek, ride a bike or horses and climb.
B) The famous beaches of Versilia 20 km far away from Lucca.
C) The wonderful cliffs of 5 Terre 70 km far away from Lucca.
D) The historical towns of Pisa (20 Km far away) and Florence (70 Km far away).
E) The beautiful hills nearby you can reach by bike too.
F) The lake of Massaciuccoli, famous Puccini's residence, with his lovely naturalistic protected area you can explore by canoing and by foot.
The owners, fond of trekking and MTB, will be very glad to suggest you the unknown paths in the neighbourhood.
From Lucca exit of the highway A11, follow the indications for centre of the city, cross the wall at Porta Elisa, turn right in Via Santa Chiara and, after 150 mt. park in Piazza San Francesco.
The apartment is in Via San Nicolao 100 mt far from the square.

The Versilia beach is located 20 Km far from the apartment and there you will find sailing, boating, waterskiing, fishing and so on...
The Apuane mountains are at the same distance and there you will be able to have trekking, mountain biking, rafting, rock climbing and so on...
Pisa is 20 Km far from the centre of Lucca and Florence is 70 Km. far. You can easily go there by train (the railways station is 700 mt far the apartment) or by car.
