La Civetta is a comfortable 100 square metre farmhouse style apartment sleeping up to 6. It is one of 5 privately owned flats within a converted 15th century farmhouse. There are communal grounds and shared use of a fabulous 15 x 8 metre swimming pool with views over Lucca and beyond.There is a childrens play area and table tennis above the pool area. There is also a private cottage style garden with wisteria covered gazebo over the dining area.

There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom,bathroom,sitting room and new hand built kitchen with equipped with marble sink and tops and brass fittings.There is a SMEG oven, dishwasher,fridge and microwave as well as a washing machine.
The interior is typical rustic style but furnished in an english cottage style with some typical Tuscan touches.

The surrounding area is perfect for walking as it is set back 1.5 km from the road leading down to Lucca so there is no road noise or pollution. There are shaded walkways,waterfalls and woods making it perfect for walking or cycling.There is a wine estate Tenuta Maria Teresa a 10 minutes walk away, with several other notable estates open for wine tasting within a 5 km radius.

Lucca is 10 minutes by car. The fortified walls provide a fascinating insight into how Lucca protected itself from marauders during its eventful history. You can now cycle (rent bikes inside Port Elisa) or walk around the walls...a very popular paseggiata for local Lucchese in the cooler summer evenings. Shopping is a joy,Via Filungo has many designer label clothes shops and is famouse for its old jewellery shops. There are lovely wide squares (Piazza Grande/Napoleone) where you can sip a chilled glass of Prosecco or eat a gelato and people watch!

We provide fresh cotton sheets, swimming pool towels, and a weekly clean and change of linen.

We also provide a welcome basket of our own organic extra virgin olive oil,a chilled bottle of prosecco,pasta with sauce and a bottle of Lucca hills red san giovese wine.

The swimming pool is cleaned weekly by a private pool company.

High Season Price : €1000 per Week

Deposit is 50 % at time of booking and the balance 4 weeks before your holiday.

There is a 30% cancellation fee if you cancel your holiday 12 weeks before the start or 50 % 4 weeks before. Less than 4 weeks notice and we will try to rebook your holiday and if successful we will give you back 50 % of the total cost.

There is a safety deposit of 100 euros to be paid upon arrival.

Welcome basket provided plus swimming pool towels.

One baby cot provided free.
