If you love the allure of surprises and discovering things, from fine drinks to excellent food, you just cannot miss out on a holiday in Tuscany, where the whole countryside offers you an original cross-section of nature and fine examples of the works of men.

I Melograni del Chianti farm holiday residence is located in the Tuscan hills, in the small medieval town of Talciona, a perfect barycentre in between the biggest cities of art in Tuscany: Florence, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano.

Our residence has seven apartments that have been luxuriously restored and furnished by the new management, who have created highly pleasurable accommodation that is intimate, but at the same time has a lived-in feel. You can enjoy a breathtaking view from any of the apartments: the mellow profile of the Tuscan hills covered in olive groves and vineyards, and an alternation of woods and small towns that reminds us of the area’s origins and gives a picture of tranquillity and peace which has mostly been forgotten.

    • All our apartments have their own entrances, are of a good size and have been restored while keeping the traditional exposed beams. All the apartments have central heating and satellite TV. Also, a swimming pool and solarium are at the disposal of our guests, as well as a barbecue for our guests to grill meat at sunset, a laundry, a private car park and a wireless area which all our guests can use for connecting to internet

    Most of people coming to Tuscany appreciate it's simple and tasteful dishes. In fact it's basic flavour has been unaltered through the centuries.
    Our cooking course introduce you to the simple technique of making handmade pastas and using the Mediterranean herbs. All the menus are suited to fresh local market season products.
    Usually, we prepare a dinner togheter in the afternoon…….
    Our prices include the previously materials shopped, the preparation of a complete Tuscan Menu with dessert, the final meal with prepared dishes with Chianti wine. Starting from € 50 per person (2 people minimum).
