Vacation Rental Description
The newly built Luisa apartments are situated just outside the pretty villlage of Pianacci but are only 15 minutes drive to the nearest large town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana with all facilities. The stunning backdrop to this property are the Appennine mountain range which form part of the Parco del'Appennino and Orechiella Nature Reserve. Apartment 1 sleeps up to 5 people and has one bedroom with a double and single bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. Newly fitted shower room with separate shower cubicle, WC, bidet, sink and vanity unit. Well equipped kitchen in the open-plan lounge/dining area. French doors to private patio with table/chairs for al-fresco dining overlooking the fabulous newly built swimming pool with fountain feature and stunning scenery beyond.
Apartment 2 sleeps up to 4 people and has one bedroom with a double bed and bunk-beds. Newly fitted well-equipped open-plan kitchen/dining area. Large separate double shower room. Separate WC. French doors leading to private patio with table/chairs for al-fresco dining over-looking the fabulous newly built swimming pool with fountain feature and stunning scenery beyond.
Large and spacious gardens with swings and play area ideal for families with small children. Ample car parking.
Low cost flights are available by flying Ryanair or Easyjet from most major airports in the UK to Pisa.
Facilities
The newly built Luisa apartments offer great family accommodation in a quiet and rural setting. Situated between the pretty villages of Pianacci and Villa Collemandina, this property is the ideal base to explore this unspoilt area of Tuscany. Nearby there are tennis courts, a 9-hole golf course, pony trekking and daily hiking excursions can be organised locally at nearby Barga to explore the many surrounding mountain villages on foot. The exclusive and upmarket beach resort of Forte dei Marmi is just a fifty minute drive away. Throughout the months of July and August there are daily festivals held within the many small villages in the area where you can eat and drink to your heart's content for a minimal amount. A truly memorable way to experience the real heart of Tuscany and its people and cultures. Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is a typical bustling Italian town that is important for local farming and agriculture and famous for local produce including pecorino cheese, farro, porcini mushrooms and polenta and is located at a height of approx. 300 metres above sea level. It has many restaurants, bars and coffee shops, perfect for taking a capuccino and watching the world go by, as well as many varied shops and supermarkets. Every Thursday since 1430 there has been an open air market. A must for any visitor.
Train travel is still extremely good value. There are excellent connections from the local town to nearby Lucca, Pisa, Florence or the Cinque Terre on the coast. Closer to home Barga, Castiglione and Bagni di Luuca are all worth a visit.

A deposit of 150 euro per week is required at the time of booking. Cancellations : Eight weeks (or more) before departure we retain the deposit. Eight weeks (or less) before departure we retain 50% of total cost. Two weeks (or less) before departure we retain 100% of total cost. For your convenience the deposit payment can be made via bank transfer (euros) with the balance payable on arrival by Euro cheque or in cash (euros).
