A very quiet zone, in the middle of the Tosco Emiliano pre-appeninic wood; it's an ideal place to relax, to 8 km. from Bilancino Lake and the new famous outlet in BARBERINO di MUGELLO; about half an hour from Florence and an hour from Bologna, and Lucca. The place is in the heart of Mugello. Moreover the owners offer(if you pleased) a welcome typical dinner on your arrival in Italy. The 2 bathrooms have been completely refurbished at the end of 2008, are now much more comfortable and are available 2 showers.

    • we advice to visit the following places: the outlet in Barberino,structured as a medioeval village, with a lot of discounted, signed articles. VICCHIO,the country of GIOTTO; BARBIANA with its remarkable PIEVE, Where Don MILANI(the uneasy priest, for excellence) established his famous school; SCARPERIA, the country of knives, the villa of CAFAGGIOLO: the hunting residence of I MEDICI family. In all these places we can find typical mugellani restaurants where you can taste the uncomparable POTATO TORTELLINI,mushrooms and deer, boar,hare. Shepherd is a 5-minute drive, where you can buy the excellent cheese
