Tina and Franco welcome you to LA TINAIA, their country estate. LA TINAIA is a typical Tuscan farmhouse located on a privileged spot on the hills of the Florentin Chianti land. It enjoys far reaching and spectacular views over the surrounding Tuscan countryside with vineyards, olive groves and woods. This charming farmhouse, restaured and furnished with utmost care and a touch of rustic elegance, offers accomodation in 5 fully equipped apartments, very peaceful and decorated with ancient furniture.
In the large garden: barbecue, areas for relaxation and solarium, beautiful swimming pool 11 x 5.5
The apartments, restored with particular care respecting the typicality of the place, have terracotta-tiled floors and ceilings with beams and terracotta tiles . The windows are large and provide panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The decor consists of furniture of the early 1900’s.

LA TINAIA FARMHOLIDAY is located 15 minutes drive from downtown Florence (10 km).
Florence can be reached very quickly by tramway from Scandicci (5 minutes drive from the estate) with departures every 5 minutes and free parking place. The trip downtown is 15 minutes. It is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany's artistic and architectural heritage (Siena, Pisa, S. Gimignano, the Chianti land...)and for outings in the nature (trekking, mountain bike).
We produce and sell excellent extra virgin olive oil and DOCG Chianti wine.
In our country estate you will find a friendly atmosphere. We are a couple who lives in the farmhouse and are very happy to guide our guests to discover the true and authentic Tuscany. On request, we provide breakfast (6 euros per person).

From the motorway A1 turn off at the exit FIRENZE SCANDICCI SGC FI-PI-LI, on to the FI-PI-LI direction Pisa/Livorno. After few kms turn off at the exit GINESTRA FIORENTINA and follow direction CERBAIA for 3 km. At the village S. VINCENZO A TORRI turn left in front the church in Via S. Niccolò. Drive straight on for 4,5 kms and you'll find La Tinaia on the left.
Facilities
A pleasant and large living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen and a large fire place is at the disposal of guests who wish to prepare and take their meals in the garden. Typical restaurant and litle grocery 150 meters away, other restaurants and pizzerias nearby. Supermarkets and stores at 5 km. Tennis courts at 6 km – Riding school at 5 km. We can make reservations for some museums in Florence: "Galleria degli Uffizi", "Galleria dell'Accademia", "Bargello".

A holiday at La Tinaia becomes an ideal time to discover a unique artistic and naturalistic heritage and to sample the great quality of Florentine Chianti products: Chianti wine DOCG (controlled and warranted designations of origin), IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) wines and extra virgin olive oil that we produce. A holiday is an occasion for relaxation in a comfortable apartment that we have personally designed, finished and furnished with particular care, to give you the feeling of “just like home. Each window of this villa – which in its previous life was a great farm house – serves as a frame for a living painting. The ample park-like grounds, in flower a good part of the year, provide a stupendous panorama of the surrounding countryside. This includes an area equipped for just “lazing around,” for eating al fresco and to enjoy the sun and the beautiful swimming pool with a panoramic view. It would truly be a pleasure for us to guide you in the discovery of the real Tuscany and its traditions!

The two prices show on the research results page as well as above, refer to the lowest and highest price and refer to two different apartments (2 or 4 persons). These prices include: linen and towels with a weekly change, park place, using of the swimming pool, heating and final cleaning. Air conditioning: 30 € per week for each apartment. Breakfast : 6 € per person. We don't require any deposit. We don't accept credit card.
