Florence, located amongst historic palaces, museums, churches and piazzas – Is considered the most influential city during the Renaissance, and the cultural highlight of Tuscany. Florence has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1982. This cultural paradise can be discovered by simply strolling through the historic centre, which contains the picturesque Ponte Vecchio with a variety of quaint little jewellery shops, the famous Uffizi gallery with Botticelli’s masterpieces, and the beautiful Baboli gardens. Florence, which literally means ‘trip’ in Italian is the cradle of the Renaissance and is famous for it’s artisans such as the small workshops of wood cutters, sculptors, gold workers, painters and musicians. In every narrow cobblestone street there is something new to discover! Florence also contains the famous Cathedral designed by the Medici architect Brunelleschi, Galleria dell’academia and the panoramic view of Florence from Piazza Michelangelo. Surrounding the city centre are small picturesque towns filled with olive trees and cypresses. Fiesole is a country town situated in a fantastic location between two hills, resulting it the town becoming a common hideaway for poets, writers and artists. Otherwise, there is rustic Settignano, which is ideal for those whom enjoy a good coffee. Chianti is one of the most beautiful countryside’s in all of Tuscany. Here you can find gentle hills, farmhouses, cypress tress and umbrella pines, as well as some of the best wines of this region, this is why many visitors choose Chianti as the highlight of their trip. To appreciate Tuscan wine, there is a wine tasting expedition in the capital of Chianti, Greve, which is accompanied by traditional Tuscan cuisine. 
 
Come stay in an ancient palace located in the heart of Florence – The ancient palace, once residence of an incumbent Florentine family in the 14th century is situated only a few meters from the famous Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti and the Baboli Gardens. It contains a total of 7 apartments, all recently renovated to increase comfort whilst still maintaining the Florentine architectural elements and antique furniture. Each apartment contains unique design characteristics and can provide for up to 4 or 6 people. All the apartments contain satellite TV, heating, a telephone, air conditioning and Internet access. Apartment Clarissa Up to 6 people – 80 sqm Facilities: The apartment is located on the first floor of the palace and is spread over two levels. On the first level of the apartment, are beautiful frescoes from the 15th century, a large elegant living room with Kitchenette, double sofa bed, large bedroom with a double bed and two large windows, 1 bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine. The second level contains a large bedroom with two single beds and 1 bathroom with a shower. All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, telephone, wireless Internet, bed linen and towels (changed 2 x per week). Upon request Cot for free Babysitter Guests can enjoy a traditional Tuscan dinner and Tuscan cooking courses, which are organised in the booked apartment.
