Vacation Rental Description
The apartment is located in an ideal location for those who wish to explore 
Florence and all of its most famous museums, churches, and monuments; the 
Ponte Vecchio, Boboli Gardens, and Pitti Palace are all less than five 
minutes away. The entry of the building consists of a lovely courtyard that 
houses the store of one of Florence's most famous artisinal ceramic 
companies. The large windows inside the apartment look out onto the red 
rooftops and typical courtyards of Florence's city center, and the apartment 
is also extremely quiet and private given the fact that it does not face the 
busy street below.  
 
The apartment consists of an ample entryway, a living and dining area with 
dining table and sofa bed, a large double-room with queen-size bed, a 
recently renovated bathroom with shower, and a small kitchen. It is located 
on the second floor of an historic building, and there is an elevator in the 
building. It also has all modern amenities: internet connection, air 
conditioning, heating, ceiling fans, hairdryer, and iron. All kitchen 
supplies are provided, from flatware and glassware to microwave oven, 
American coffee machine, refrigerator, toaster oven, and electric tea 
kettle. Small animals are permitted on the premises pending approval of the 
landlord. Other additional services provided upon request include airport 
transfer (from both Florence and Pisa airports), cooking courses, and 
reservations for guided tours of museums, as well as organized trips to the 
Chianti region, Siena, and Pisa. All guides and service providers speak both 
English and Italian. Breakfast supplies (milk, butter, cookies, bread, jam, 
fresh fruit) for the first days of your sojourn can also be provided upon request
