An ancient mill on the Arno dating back to the 13th century and still intact in its charm. It is completely surrounded by nature and located in the vicinity of a small village offering a bar, a newsstand, some shops and a restaurant.
The center of Florence lies less than 5 Km away and can be easily reached by car, by bus or by a bicycle path running along the riverside. There are ample and well-equipped outdoor spaces (the garden and the terrace give onto the river). In the warm days breakfast is served in the garden. The bedrooms, baths and a separate hall occupy a wing that is completely reserved to guests.
In a finely restored setting, the bedrooms are furnished with antiques and are provided with satellite-dish television. A refrigerator is available. Private parking and possibility of bikes chartering.
The B&B is immersed in the landscape of green hills that form the valley of the river. It is a veritable small oasis of tranquillity. From here one can easily visit the entire artistic wealth and heritage of the city thanks to the excellent connections (by bus, bicycle or car) or dedicate one’s time to exploring the environs of Florence, avoiding city traffic.
The bus stop is located only 200 meters from the B&B in the village square.
This bus line (14A) with frequent runs crosses the entire historical center, reaches the Trade Fair and Exposition Center and ends at the Main Hospital.

The B&B is situated only 5 Km south of Florence off the state highway to Arezzo. It is suitable both as an ideal base for visiting Florence or as starting point for exursions by car, trekking or walks and bicylce rides in the Florentine or Tuscan countryside. Bicycles are available.
The large garden is a pleasant and peaceful spot for relaxing, lulled by the murmur of the Arno, after a day spent visiting monuments and museums. The village within walking distance (a few hundred meters) offers an excellent restaurant for dining, a bar, a pharmacy and other stores as well as a cinema.

• From the railway station: by direct bus in 20 minutes. The bus stop is 200 mt from the house.
• From the airport: by shuttle to railway station in 25 minutes and then by bus.
• From Highway A1 ( Milan -Rome): from the exit Firenze Sud 4 km driving.

Booking 20% of deposit of price for the rooms booking with PayPal or credit cards. Cancellation Policy Any reservation must be cancelled no later than three weeks in advance to receive full refund, less the 10.00 euro administrative fee. No refund is given in all other circumstances. We are a very small facility (we have only four guest rooms), and that forces us to be rather restrictive in our cancellation policy. As a matter of fact, if you cancel a reservation, it means 25% of lost income to us, because it's very unlikely that we would be able to rent your room to someone else - most visitors would have already booked a room at some other place. Large hotels can afford the "same day" cancellations - we cannot, sorry. Thank you for your understanding!
