The Location is an ideal starting point for who wish to have nice daily trip and sightseeing all over South Tuscany and Umbria as well: being the city of Cortona located not far either from the motorway A1 (exit Valdichiana) and from the freeway Siena-Perugia. Very well known sites like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Perugia, Assisi and so on can be reached in less than hour driving as well as the hidden and maybe most beautiful corners of this 2 regions. Big cities like Florence or Rome can be easily reached also by train ( and we suggest to use it in high season to avoid traffic roads) being Cortona served by 2 train railways stations. Above all we are quite sure that you will fall in love with the ancient atmosphere of this beautiful town. All shops and facilities in the big village of Camucia, nice restaurants, bars, cafes, shops in Cortona. Supermarket are open also on Sunday morning.From the property the village of Camucia can be reached with a nice walk (2 Km. 
 
La Canonica has three floors connected by a sandstone staircase. Almost all windows look out over the garden. Ground floor: the entrance door leads directly to the living room/kitchen/dining room. Although a single room, it is well divided into the various zones with a beautiful worktop housing sink, stove and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a small portico, with an antique wood oven, ideal for summer meals. Behind this there is a small outbuilding houses the washing machine. A twin bedroom with joinable beds and a small bathroom with shower complete the ground floor. First floor: twin bedroom with joinable beds with en suite bathroom with shower and large double bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom with tub. Second floor: A study leads into a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub.

    TERMS OF PAYMENT: - 30% as deposit to be paid on the act of booking plus the costs of opening the file Euro 40.00. - 70% as balance to be paid in the forty days preceding the beginning of location. Balance payment by Credit card will be accepted. BOOKINGS MADE LESS THAN 40 DAYS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF STAY: In this case the clients must make the payment of the total amount of the rent in one single installment on the act of booking. The way of payment will be the same as in the normal booking procedure.
