PAYMENT:
A booking payment of 30% of the total amount due must be sent on receipt of our booking confirmation. The balance must be paid on arrival, deposits will be reimbursed only if cancellation will be at least 60 days before the start of the lease.

I found this lovely place through Trip Advisor but was still skeptical because it was SOOO reasonable! Our suite was exactly like the picture on their website! The owners were helpful & friendly & very hardworking! The sunflowers were blooming all around the property, the pool was clean, the air conditioning worked well, the art on the walls was beautiful... I could go on & on!
All 4 of us would reccomend this property without reservation!

Excellent renovated villa, with helpful owners.
Commento pos.: Villa was clean, well done up with good comunications,wi fi and and TV
Commento neg.: You need to go through a small industrial area to get to the villa which isa slight turnoff
Suggerimento: Try not to do to much each day and have time to enjoy the villa and the pool.

Last August I had the pleasure of staying at La Mucchia vacation farmhouse. Reading some reviews on Tripadvisor, I knew of the hotel’s great reputation and took this opportunity for my first stay. Having driven 3 hours from Rome to reach Cortona, upon arriving at your hotel I was warmly welcomed by the owner, who quickly put me at ease. He gave me a wonderful suite for me and my wife and also provided a fantastic seafood restaurant recommendation as well as helpful information about other cities to visit for the next morning. Staying at La Mucchia quickly became the highlight of my Tuscan vacation! Thank you!

La Mucchia is well located, offers professional yet friendly management, clean and lovely apartments that are equipped with everything one could possibly need for their holidays. Restaurants are just minutes away, should you decide not to cook within the apartment. The pool is a relaxing haven that overlooks the hillside of Cortona. Each apartment features an outdoor seating area with table for those who choose to eat their meals al fresco. La Mucchia is absolute perfection....

Great place to stay and the Brothers are very helpful with day trip information if you require it. They even made several phone calls for us to set up reservations. I remember asking about a town just in casual conversation and then Uri showed a few minutes later with details on the site and how to get there just in case we decided to go.
You easily make several day trips to other towns besides Cortona. I recommend calling Giovanni Adrianni for him to guide you around Cortona as you will learn there is much more history here which far outweighs the fascination Cortona has developed due to the movie. We could have spent another week just getting to know Cortona better.
Great place to stay and we would go back there today.

We loved staying at La Mucchia Casa Vacanze. Our accommodation was immaculate and comfortable - wonderful location near Cortona.
The building has been lovingly renovated.
The beautiful pool was so inviting after a day of sight seeing.

We enjoyed our stay so very much! The hospitality of the owners was a perfect mix of helpfulness and privacy. The pool had wonderful with a view of Cortona. We traveled with another couple and suite #6 was a nice sized 2 bedroom 2 bath with kitchen area, dining table and living room. All the guests staying in other suites all seemed to be enjoying their stay as much as we did!
Although you'll need a car to get to the villa and around Tuscany to Cortona, Siena, Montepuliciano, Assisi and other great locations, the drives are easy. You can take a train easily to Florence or Rome from this location.
The price was very reasonable for the amenities and location.
I wouldn't have changed a thing!
