“Il Vicolo” is situated in the ancient part of Castiglion Fiorentino, a medieval village near Arezzo (Tuscany), at the second floor of an 17th century palace, inside the city walls. Its ancient and peculiar structure makes it a charming landmark for those who love life in a calm and silent environment. Castiglion Fiorentino maintains inside its walls several traces of its millenary history. Its natural beauty, folklore, delicious restaurants and wine bars where you can taste typical dishes and drink superb Tuscany wine, all this makes Castiglion Fiorentino the right place to spend your holidays. Easy to reach by train (the train station is only 5 minutes away), well connected to Rome and Florence, Castiglion Fiorentino is also a excellent starting point for one-day trips to beautiful towns in the surroundings (Cortona, Perugia, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena).

In 1734, given its modernity, it was considered as the most suitable place to lodge the Infante of Spain Don Carlos, Filippo V and Elisabetta Farnese’s son, bound to become the new Tuscan Grand Duke. The flat is made up of a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and two bedrooms (a double room and a double room with two single beds), there is also a sofa bed in the living room. Crossing the bedroom you enter a small balcony from where there is a charming view of the ancient village. Its closeness to towns (such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano, Montalcino) that have made the gentle hills near Siena well-known all over the world, the opportunity to reach quickly the most famous Central Italy cities of art (Rome, Florence, Perugia, Siena) make the small town the ideal place to discover the beautiful center Italy.
