Vacation Rental Description
This beautiful traditional farmhouse forms part of the oldest wing of Le Bagnaie, a 300 year old farm on a secluded hilltop, which was converted into 8 privately owned houses in 1990. All are beautifully restored in traditional rustic style with exposed beams, old terracotta floors and open fires, together with the modern convenience of superb marble bathrooms and central heating. Each house has its own paved terrace, garden and the shared facility of beautiful grounds, including a magnificent swimming pool, a children's pool, boules court and an all-weather tennis court. There are outstanding views of the surrounding countryside.

    • There are numerous wonderful traditional Tuscan restaurants in all the surrounding areas such as Castellina in Chianti, Siena, San Gimigniano, Colle Val D'Elsa, Volterra, Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti. The closest restaurant to Le Bagnaie is about a 5 minute drive. Cooks can be organised to come to the house and cook a traditional Italian menu. 
     
    There are superb walks all around and several start from the house. 
     
    It is a very popular area for mountain biking and these can be hired in nearby towns. 
     
    The area is very child friendly and there aremany local playgrounds. 
     
    Shopping is in abundance particularly in Siena (15 mins) and Florence (40 mins). Food shopping is also readily available - 7 days a week about a 10 minute drive from the house. 
     
    Being in the heart of Chianti, vineyards are very accessible and offer many wonderful wines and olive oils to taste. There are several vineyards within a 5 minute drive.

    The house was perfect for the 6 of us. We could play tennis, boules and swim. Far enough away from any big cities. Close enough to take a short car journey to visit. This place is such a gorgeous part of the world

    Paradise is a house in Tuscany. You do have a beautiful holiday home with stunning views. Isolated but easily accessible to civilisation. May we soon return.
