Vacation Rental Description

This cosy and newly refurbished property consists of 3 levels with 2 double bedrooms on the 2nd floor with lovely views over the valley of Bagni Di Lucca. The 1st floor has; a bathroom which benefits from a full sized bath with shower over, toilet and bidet, a well equipped kitchen and a living room with seating for 6 people and an open fire, again with lovely views. The ground floor consists of an entrance room, a downstairs WC and an internal cantina which houses the dishwasher and logs for the fire. There is room to store your skis or bikes, should you wish to bring them. There is car parking immediately outside the property. The house sleeps 4 comfortably, however, 2 additional guests can be catered for if required. Fly screens have been installed on all windows and the house is suitable for holidays throughout the year as there is central heating. Children are most welcome, however, care must be taken with toddlers as the stairs are tiled. A food hamper and a selection of wines is provided for your enjoyment. A restaurant is a 10 minute walk away and a small bar is just 100 m away. Ideal for an ice cream or a quite cup of coffee. The surrounding area has some fantastic walks and treks which is perfect if you are a keen walker or mountain biker. There are numerous activities available within a close proximity. Cookery courses are available locally as are horse riding, fishing and tennis. 3 outdoor swimming pools, fed by the thermal springs in Bagni di Lucca, are a welcome addition to an active and relaxing holiday.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with large double bed, bedside tables, alarm clock, wardrobe, chest of drawers and space for an additional single bed if required and a hair dryer. Bedroom 2 with large double bed, bedside table, alarm clock and wardrobe.

Kitchen : Electric oven with a gas hob over, fridge (with a small freezer compartment) and microwave oven. A kettle, toaster and coffee making facility is also available.

Living Room: The living room has 2 comfortable settees, a TV, DVD player, Playstation2 and a stereo HiFi system. Playstation2 games, DVDs and CDs are provided. Books are also provided.

Viareggio, is approximately 50 Kilometres (30 miles) away and the Versillian coastline offers some lovely beaches.
Pisa is the nearest airport approximately an hour's drive away 65 Kilometres (40 miles.) Fornoli in Bagni di Lucca has a train station with a direct line to Lucca.

Ideally a car is recommended, however, if you are adventurous using the buses and trains will get you to your destinations. Collection to and from the airport can be arranged, if required. Just let us know when you make your booking.

Heating, electricity, linen and towels are provided. The property is cleaned and the linen and towels are changed when your stay is for more than 7 nights. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the urge to explore is never very far away. There are a multitude of activities available nearby including: horse riding, trekking, mountain biking, skiing, walking, swimming, paragliding and tennis, to name just a few and easily accessible within a minute to an hour away. Local cookery courses are available. The famous thermal baths of Bagni di Lucca, which have been used since the Etruscan and Roman times, is the perfect place to visit for a relaxing and peaceful experience. The Jean Verraud Termè offers wonderful beauty and well-being treatments, as does the Villaggio Globale in Ponte A Serraglio. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the town, with toddler and diving pools and these are fed by the local thermal springs. The nature reserve Orrido di Bottri, with its amazing gorge is 15 minutes away and is worth a visit.
The ski resort of Abetone and the Versillian coastline are just an hour away.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Euros are accepted. We are flexible with our changeover days and the house can be booked per night, at a rate of £70.00 per night with a minimum stay of 3 nights. We accept payment via PayPal. A deposit of £100.00, for each week booked, will be required on booking and the remainder to be received 8 weeks prior to your date of arrival. Should you wish to cancel the booking at any time, then 80% of the deposit will be refunded provided we receive written notification 8 weeks prior to your arrival. An additional security deposit of £100 will be required with your booking and this will be refunded within 10 days of your return home, provided there are no breakages or damage to the property. Should there be any damage, then a proportion or all of the deposit will be withheld to pay for the necessary repairs or replacements.
