Casa Pucci is a former 200 year old farmhouse lovingly restored combining the best of the old traditional style with the new to add convenience and comfort. The villa, set in hilly countryside with outstanding views of meadows and the Sibillini mountains is about 10 Kilometres from the medieval hill towns of Sarnano and Amandola and Monte San Martino in the region of Le Marche.
It is about 40 minutes from the Adriatic Riviera and 20 minutes from the Sibillini Mountain National Park. It is 50 km from the regional capital Ascoli Piceno, 40 km from Macerata, 90 km from Ancona, 80 km from Assisi and 180 from Rome.
The house faces south with a garden and partly shaded terraces where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views over the valley towards the Apennine and Sibillini Mountain range. The unspoilt countryside around the villa is gently sloping with terraced fields and woodland.
The house sleeps 8 people with 3 double rooms and 1 twin. The house has two living rooms, one with inglenook fireplace and dining area, the other an upstairs studio, a fully equipped kitchen, and two modern bathrooms.
Accommodation
Ground Floor:
Entrance hall: Leading off the entrance hall is one double bedroom with built in wardrobe and one bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with hip bath/shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin and utility sink.
Living/dining room: typical Marchesian farmhouse living area with large open fireplace and bathroom with shower/toilet and washbasin leading from it.
Leading off the Living/dining room are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.
Kitchen: Leading off the living/dining room is a well equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge freezer and coffee machine. An iron is available for quests use.
1st Floor:
Studio: The studio has studio has satellite TV, portable radio/cassette, easy chairs and spectacular views across the valley.
Outside: Lawned area and large terraced area with loungers, table and chairs, parasols, for those relaxing days and barbecues ( small bbq included). For those brave enough is an outside shower to cool off after the heat of the day. Your not overlooked so go for it!
Washroom: situated in a room attached to the villa is a washroom with water, washing machine and washing line.
General:
The whole house has been thoughtfully and charmingly furnished and retains many of its original features. It has central heating (for those cooler times in the year) and constant hot water. Recently, renovation of the roof has been completed and the windows have been modenised to include double glazing and fly screens.
