What our guests have said: "Simply to say we enjoyed it would be an understatement! We thoroughly enjoyed it".

"Le Marche itself is wholly wonderful isn’t it? We did that much walking around hill top villages, though we could have gone on forever doing it. The people in Sant' Angelo itself were lovely. One lunchtime they even re-opened the supermarket during siesta for us to shop".
Jan Vaughan
"You asked me for comments. Nothing needs to be said really, Il Monastero is perfect for a self catering apartment. Info provided also excellent"

The Sibillini National Park offers mountain activities and sports, hiking, biking, skiing (in winter only), the monastery is in between the mountains and the sandy beaches of the sunny Adriatic coast, a great location. Nearby larger towns are Fermo, Macerata and Ascoli Piceno, the provincial capitols with plenty of shopping, restaurants, galleries and churches. Sant'Angelo has everything you need on a day to day basis, as well as 2 really good restaurants in walking distance from the Monastery. Le Marche is called " Italys best kept secret" and is the real rural region, unspoilt, and with stunning scenery. Email me for further details about the area.
