CASA SANTO - SYRACUSE 
The apartment is in Ortigia, the heart of Syracuse historical centre, minutes walk from the main square and the promenade by the sea. Ortigia is a small island linked by two bridges to the main town and is now one of Unesco protected World Heritages centres. Its labyrinth of little alleyways dotted with ancient Greek ruins, Baroque fountains, open air restaurants and cafes will not fail to entertain you.  
Syracuse was the capital of the Magna Grecia and you can enjoy visiting one of the largest Greek theatres, where in May and June they still perform plays from Aeschylus to Aristophanes; another sight not be missed are the S. Giovanni Catacombs, second in size only to the Rome ones. The heart of the town is the magnificent Cathedral Square, a large pedestrian area surrounded by beautiful buildings. The sight of the lit up square enjoyed while having a meal in one of the open air restaurants will be an unforgettable magical memory. 
 
THE APARTMENT 
It is situated in a narrow road lit up by pretty lanterns and suitable only for small cars. 
 
External stairs to second floor. From a pleasant terrace door to corridor leading to medium size twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, charming lounge with beamed ceiling and double doors opening onto terrace. 
 
From the lounge open archway into modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker with oven, dishwasher and microwave. 
Sat TV with DVD/CD player and sound around system. 
 
From lounge stairs to 3rd and top floor, with large double bedroom, with TV (not Sat) and window with view of the sea in the distance. Bathroom with shower. From bedroom doors to covered terrace with washing machine, outdoor kitchen with 4 gas ring hob and sink, table and chairs (no fridge), from here access to uncovered terrace with charming views over the old town with its churches and roof tops. This terrace can also be reached via an external staircase from the lower terrace.
