This peaceful relaxing house, with calming views out across the sea to the medieval castle of Castelsardo and further to the island of Asinara, is set on the sand dunes of Badesi Mare, only 5 mins. from the fabulous long white sand beach of Badesi, where there are facilities for various water sports, several café bars on the beach, deckchairs and loungers for hire, and of course the wonderful clear turquoise sea.. Situated in the magnificent area of Gallura in the North of Sardinia, within easy driving distance of the many and varied coves, bays and white sand beaches of the crystal clear seas of both “Costa Paradiso” and “Costa Smeralda” you will find locals selling freshly grown fruit and vegetables, local cheeses, wine and fresh fish along the coast road. The local village of Badesi is 5 minutes away where you will find all facilities for shopping, including supermarkets, grocers, green grocers (selling local organic veg.) bakers, butchers (local organic meat), chemist, post offices and banks, as well as various cafés and bars. 
500 metres down the road is an excellent local restaurant, where one can enjoy the delights of Sardinian cuisine, and local wines, and of course one can walk home. There are many other restaurants and pizzerias in the local villages, as well as in the local seaside town of Valledoria (10 minutes).  
There are lots of local festivals, all are invited, and one can sample the local cuisine at very reasonable prices, followed by some folk dancing or music etc., the Gallurese are known for their warm hospitality. Above all in Sardinia you will find tranquillity with its miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside, it remains one of the few beautiful "undiscovered" holiday islands left in Europe and only 2 hours from the U.K. (see below). 
The property, set in it’s own grounds of 10,000 meters sq. is divided into 2 houses, Casa Tranquilla is a comfortable, simple, and spacious house, consisting of a large lounge/dining room with sofas, armchairs, table and chairs, T.V., and French windows leading to the outside area, where one can sit with a glass of wine and contemplate in the peace of the Sardinian countryside, with the views out to sea, also a second lounge with sofabed and coffee table. There is a kitchen with fridge freezer, hob, sink, pots, pans, cutlery, china etc. Master double bedroom, 2nd large bedroom with twin or double bed, (a 3rd single bed can be added upon request). A laundry room with a washing machine, a large bathroom with all conveniences inc. a bath with shower, another separate shower, bidet, hand basin and W.C. The house has ample outside space with shaded areas, there is a barbeque area with barbeque for cooking and one can eat "al fresco", there are a couple of sun loungers and an extra outside shower for after beach. 
The house has central heating if needed in the winter, and will be charged at 20 euros a week.

Bookings taken and priced in units of one week Saturday to Saturday. (will accommodate variations subject to availability). All the prices quoted in Euro, are per House based on one-week stay. There is a compulsory charge of €20 per person to cover water, gas, electricity and linen. Linen and bathroom towels are changed weekly. The villa will be cleaned before your arrival, please leave it as you found it.
