A warm compact apartment in a 2 storey villa with a large sunny terrace with wonderful mountain views from all angles of the house. It is the last house up the mountain pathway and as such its location is a paradise of tranquillity. It has a lounge,a bathroom with bath and shower and 1 double and 1 twin bedrooms. Location of apartment is ideal for downhill skiiers,lovers of nature and walks. The main slope is in walking distance from the apartment.There is assured snow(artificial when needed) all winter season on the 13 sunny slopes,the longest through the pine forest down to the house and the cabin lift in Valtournenche at 1500m. Valtournenche is connected to Cervinia and Zermatt (Switzerland) for adventurous skiiers and perfect baby and intermediate slopes at 1650m.Because of the short distance from the house to the main slope you can ski down for a quick lunch on the house terrace and then resume skiing! A perfect location for a perfect ski week!

    • Valtournenche affords a modern sports centre with an olimpic size swimming pool,sauna,indoor gym and tennis.There is cross country skiing both in Valtournenche as in nearby Cervinia where there is golf in the summer as well as summer skiing on the glacier. Cervinia,only 7kms away, affords a nightlife with English pubs, boutiques and an ice-skating rink. Valtornenche has a great ski school for all levels of ability including snow boarding.Miles of trekking,walks and horse riding is enjoyed here in Valtournenche. Local restaurants and shops are just a short 5 minutes drive away or a 15 minutes walk!The most characteristic meals are 'Zuppa alla Valpellineze',rustic polenta, Carbonada and their local game and meats such as 'mocetta'.
